MoonHeart Cycle™

a modern system for guided meditation spirit journeys

what is the MoonHeart Cycle™?

A technique for modern people to learn how to experience meditation spirit journeys.

A conceptual model for opening the active, discerning mind to intuitive perception.

A creative tool that provides a starting point when entering into a visualization experience.

A language facilitating internal dialogue between our ego self, our old narratives, and our Child Sage.

three principles

acceptance

we are equally physical, rational, mental and spiritual beings every moment, and in all aspects, of our lives

discipline

we heal and grow through the continuous cycles of our life by being intentional about our experience

imagination

we free our busy minds with a sense of wonder through the use of collective symbolism and metaphor

the essence map

ESO-ESSENSE MAP

A tool to guide our inner consciousness during meditation journeys and rituals

Symbolic layers create a landscape of inner wisdom filled with healing resources always within reach.

We use the two-dimensional mapping as an activation of our intuition and inner awareness.

Combined with techniques such as astrology and tarot, this simple tool acts as a doorway to deeper truths.

We can play with the map over time and adapt it based on our own personal experience.

a word on cultural appropriation

The MoonHeart Cycle™ is loosely inspired by the teachings of the author Sun Bear and their application by a dear teacher of shamanic practice Kriket. My mentor and teacher Achebe bestowed on me the confidence to discover my own embodiment of these concepts. I take care to respect indigenous cultures and guard against appropriating their traditions and rituals. I read and research broadly on spiritual understanding, strictly avoid imitation in favor of inspiration, and am very deliberate in creating my own language. The result of my care is imperfect. What I promise is that the MoonHeart Cycle has emerged through many years of study, experimentation, and practice with deep respect for legacies I cannot claim as my own.
